The New Testament

This post is a preliminary report. "Jesus is like a new Moses , tested in the desert, and ... " 

1. Andrew is one of the twelve disciples. He is a practical person. He probably made a lot of things happen. 
2. James: His mother was a part a group  of women who followed Jesus and his disciples. Why was James die so early? Why did God allow Peter to escape? James was the first to die of the twelve. 
3. John: He was also a fisherman in the sea of Galilee. Brother of James. He was plunged into boiling oil and came out unhurt. It seems that John died of old age. 
4. Philip: met Jesus as Jesus went to John the baptist to be baptized. Brother: Nathanael 
5. Matthew was a tax collector. Romans, gentiles would be in charge of collecting charges. However, some Jews like Matthew collected tolls for the Romans too. Toll collectors were ranked with murderers and robbers. 
6. James the small: It is hard not to make a joke here. 
7. Judas
8. Judas Iscariot: The only one not from the sea but from the city.
