Yes, you heard it right. Facebook is down. Don't panic though. Life goes on as before...

Update: TechCrunch has the latest although not necessarily the most accurate. 

I quote:

I am not saying the writer is lying but the transient nature of the web means that you can read "like button is also completely down" and look at the like button as you read it.
