Good, interesting, troubling, fail — eff takes on the google-verizon deal

On the deep links blog, Electronic Frontier Foundation (eff) legal director and general counsel Cindy Cohn posted a post titled "A Review of Verizon and Google's Net Neutrality Proposal". Here are some highlights:
  1. Limited FCC Jurisdiction — Good
  2. Standard-Setting Bodies — Interesting
  3. Reasonable Network management, Additional Online Services — Troubling
  4. “Lawful” Content and Wireless Exclusions — Fail
I urge you to read the post in its entirety and Google's defense of its agreement on the public policy blog. I would love to hear from you.
